Default 11.9@125 on yokohama advans *vid inside*

i went to the track today, when i got there it looked like it was about to rain any second, and i wanted to get at least one pass in, so i did a pass on the same tires i drove to the track on (yokohama advans A032R - 205/50/15)

btw my car is full weight, full interior, daily driven street car, driven at the track like its driven on the street

heres the video

http://we-todd-did-racing.com/...DE%3D

i then put some 22" slicks on and made another pass
http://publish.uwo.ca/~cdaley3/gsrmatt2.wmv

the 11.9 pass was on the advans

the 11.4 pass was on the 22" slicks

after that second pass, i got kicked off the track for not having a roll cage

EDIT - second vid should work now

good runs. what's your setup? so if you ran at the track what you usually run on the streets, that means you run open exhaust all the time? cause it sure sounded like you you running no exhaust at all.

my setup is built b18c1 block with stock type r head
SC61 turbo running 20lbs on pump gas
417whp/293tq

and i ran the car with full exhaust, as can be seen in the 2nd video
those 2 passes are the first and only 2 passes i have done at the track since going turbo.

next time i goto the track i think ill test out some 225/50/15 bfg drag radials or something, see if i can get any better, altho i think i could have got my street tire time down if i had the chance to do more runs on the yokohama advans.
