Default offset affecting performance? how?

i don't know if this is the right place to be posting this ??@?@?!

currently, i have a gsr. i believe the blades are 45mm offset and the rota 16inches i have now are 40mm (not sure), which i am rolling on now. how will this affect my performance? good bad? neglegible? does a larger mm mean more towards the outside of the wheel well or tucking more into the wheel well? i have a 1.5'' drop and it does not rub.

i did a search, but found nothing other than people asking for clearance problems, which is not a concern to me. i just want to know the performance aspects. please help guys. thank you.

the larger the # means it will tuck in more. so a 45 offset will tuck more. however if you were to have a 45 mm offset on a wheel that is 16x7 you would most likely rub making u turns cause since the wheel sits in more and the wheel is wider it will bring it closer to the inner fender. tegs usually from my opinion are good with offsets of 40-45 but it is all dependant on size of rim

yeah you probably won't straight driving but I bet if you do a full U turn you will rub the fender liner some but no biggie though.
