Default '94 Accord EX - Can anyone help ?

I am the proud owner of a 1994 Accord. It's an EX model (don't know if that makes any difference with these problems here) and it's also a manual. The mileage is pretty high (about 214K) and I'm having a couple problems.

1. When my rpm is low...not too low...say around 1000-1500 RPM, and I'm in a low gear, I get a
shudder and my entire dash shakes pretty bad. It's as though I'm not balancing the clutch but
I don't think that's it cause i've been drivin' stick since i was 14 years old.
The balance point is soooo very precise and I was wondering if this has anything to do with the
clutch plate.

2. An old lady hit the front of my car the other day...ever so slightly....not even much paint
damage. Anyway, now, when my cooling fan comes on it sounds like a card stuck in a bicycle's
spokes when you're riding.
I checked it out and it seems as though the edge of the blades are touching the engine mount.
I don't know how this could have happened since there doesn't seem to be any sort of damage
to the radiator, radiator mounts or metal that the radiator and fan are hooked up to.
Nothing bent or broken.
Any ideas on how this could have shifted back 1/8 of an inch?
Where should I look and for what should I look in order to resolve this noisy matter?

Thanks,
Tenners.

Shudder sounds like clutch grab, which happens as the clutch ages. Start saving for a new clutch and pressure plate.

Impact may have been more than you think. I don't see how the fan shroud could have been bent otherwise. Removing the fan assembly is straightforward, although it can be challenging to get to the lower bolt that retains the lower fan shroud support. You only need to loosen, not remove. You'll need to remove the dust shield for access and still the bolt can be tough to loosen. A long open end or offset closed end 10mm wrench can help.

You may have a worn out fan and the blade is wobbling due to worn out bearing. Check ebay for a new or used fan motor.

good luck

Thanks a lot,

I figured as much...with the clutch I mean.
I'll see what I can do about the fan situation as well.

Thanks for your help KatyHonda!

seems like you really need a rear bumper, seen you post "Ill take your rear bumper" in a couple threads now. Why do you need a bumper so bad? You should also add that to you sig, you only have the rear lip listed.
