I'm guessing price would be something to sway you more towards one than the other...

To tell you the truth, I would've gotten a cusco 5.0 or even a 5.25 if somebody made one... I just got scared away from the cusco piece because somebody had it and it broke! Maybe it was just a coincidence. But I've only heard good things about ATS and figured I could bump it up to a 5.0 or 5.25 by using a slightly smaller tire combo if I wanted to.....

I am using the Cusco 5.0. I have never tried the ATS one, but the 5.0 definitely revs much faster than the 4.785. I had it for almost a year and I haven't had any problem with it. If you do a lot of highway driving, I would suggest u to get the JDM or GSR 4th and 5th.

How much did you pay for the Cusco 5.0?

I was doing the gear calculations on this website and found that if I just throw in a Cusco 5.0 into my stock GSR tranny, it'll give me the best bang for the buck acceleration, compared to getting the ATS 1st, 2nd, Type-R 3rd, keeping my GSR 4th and 5th.

although the ATS 1st, 2nd and R's 3rd would be nice with a 5.0 FD, but the MPH difference is not that much..... I'll just have to make it up with Horsepower...
