Default how to clean block like so:

does anyone know a way to get a block thats been in a car for nearly a hundred thousand miles, like so:



and clean it and have it come out like new? is there a simple way? neither of these pics are mine, but we triend it on my friends b16.. toothbrush + simle green + elbow grease did NOTHING.

i used an "air dremel" grinder thing, with a wire wheel and some purple power.it came out looking polished almost .. just like above, but better

pretty much, if you wanted to you could use different grit wheels .. just make sure,if you use that air tool. to get one thats rated around 3K RPMS+.. other wise you could go blind .. haha .. seriously

i found this stuff in jacksonvill florida at a flea market and it mad my engine look brand new it was a wheel cleaner with lots of acid it stunk so bad but it worked made engine look brand new

if anyone knows anyother solvents that would get that corossion off in the first pic i would like to know!!!!!! and so simple green and non of that stuff will work!!!!!

with out hott tanking or sand blasting a spray on solvent that works anyone know????? i know there is something out there but im not going to jacksonville florida to get it !!!!

I wanna know too...i've tried scrubing with strait and simple green, some de-greaser, and boiling hot water...still not as good as I want it, hot-tank isn't an option for me...

so everyone keep the suggestions comming.
