installing a ITR 22mm rear sway
I heard this subject was on honda-tech before but I had to get peoples info. I'm looking to know whats the best way to swap my ITR rear sway bar on. I swaped my friends rear ITR swap bar on the hybrid/katman way, but is that the best way since I did hear about another kit? What in this kit and where can I find it, So far all I have everything to do the hybrid way, just looking for feedback, thanks
http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/tech/5g_typer_swaybar.html there you go all the info you need its quite easy.
i don't believe you need the trailing arms.
i've seen people with eg civics without them.
i personally installed a complete itr suspension on my old 92 eg hatch. the only problem even with the itr trailing arms is that the sway bar doesn't completey line up with the rear sub-frame.
i bought a beaks products mounting kit for about $50 and it worked like a charm. i sold the car to my friend and he has no problems.

My understanding is all you need is the rear lower control arms off an integra and mounting hardware, after all I did do one on my friends car, but where can I hear more about this beaks kit and where can I find it?
you are going to rip your subframe apart if you dont get a beak's kit for that. the bar is made to sit 1" from your subframe and all that pressure with it sitting so close willl rip the bolts right out. the beaks kit is a plate that goes on both sides of the subframe putting the bar 1" from the subframe and making it stronger. the kit is $65 shipped, and no i do not sell these or endorse the kit. just a happy customer with a straight subframe.
i forgot how i came about the beaks. one day back in january the guy who actually sells the beaks kits posted on either honda-tech here or h-a.net saying he had a few left. i bought them and couldn't be happier.
my friend still has no problems and the quality of the kit is very nice.

I've had an ITR rear sway bar on my 5th gen. hatch for over a year of abuse on the road courses. NO TEAR OUT! If you go stiff enough with your rear springs, you should be fine. I'm running 375lb. front and 450lb. rear springs. Just use a big washer behind the subframe.

So where can you get the beaks kit?
