I think it is safe to say that everyone here is pretty passionate about their car. To some, it means everything. I'm going to put you in a situation and I'd like to see how everyone would react. I realize that this isn't always the scenario one might encounter, and that different circumstances would result in different actions. Nonetheless, it is still just a car and your actions may or may not affect the rest of your life.

Here you go:
You wake up at 3am, to look out the window and see an individual breaking into your car. Just one person.

What would you do? I know some people here own guns, and that will come into play for sure.

I personally would call the cops first, because no matter what was to unfold I would want them to beld held legally accountable. I suppose I would grab a lousiville or other melee weapon and try my best to beat this snot out of them, and stay there until the cops arrived. This is my own property, and I have the right to defend it, no?

Call the cops. Go out the back door and look for the car he rode in. Get the plate number. Go to DMV and find out where he lives. Read his mail, get some info, find out where his mom lives. Pay back starts there.

 

-no wepons unless they had some.
-grab the phone and head outside.
-sneak up and give the individual a "good one" up side the head.
-continue untill there is no movement from the individual.
-call cops and tell them that someone "fell down" while trying to steal my car.

and what if there was two or more people, and you were unsure that you would remain unharmed and still in possesion of your car?

 

-bring weapons that have the ability to do harm.
-ask them if my car is worth what I am about to give to them.
-take out as many individuals as possible (one of them will have to be detained for use in a court of law)
-receive whatever harm they decide to give me.

i would call the cops, but keep my on the person incase i need to take some kind of action. Even if it looks like there is only one, you never know if he has a look out or something. unless i see him gettting into the car. here would be know way i would let him get away with the car.

i'd call the cops on my way outside to confront them so that as little damage as possible were done to the car(grabbing a long blunt object and my keys on the way out). if they try to get away right away i'll somehow get a discription of either their car or them even if i have to follow in my mini . if they want to do battle....then i'll hold my own using a long blunt object. if i'm able to knock or or 2 of them cold....i'll drag his body into my garage and procede to remove his knee caps and finger tips by way of dremel.

thats what i'd like to do...but i think what i'd probably do is call the cops while getting as much info as i can of them. i'd rather protect my family then worry about a car.

id let them take my everyday car...01 ex. get the insurance for it. haha. now my hybrid i would call the cops and then sneek up behind them and beat there ***. one hit to the head would totally **** them up

 

I would...

- call 911 immediately
- grab my Mossberg 590 (home defense model...short barrel, heat shield, etc)
- run outside and tell the guy NOT TO MOVE with the gauge pointed at him
- walk up to him and whack the FVCK out of him with the butt of my gauge
- maybe beat on him somemore...who knows...just depends on the anger factor
- wait for the cops while he's at gunpoint

I know this sounds a bit crazy, but if he tried to attack me I would shoot him. Right or wrong, that's how I feel.
