Should I trade my 00 civic EX for 99 DX
One guy is selling his 99 hatch 72k for $5000. So I ask him if he wants to trade his car+cash with mine. He ask me how much I want for my car. I got 00 civic EX with 40k. My car has R title due to minor body damage. I been driving my car for 2 1/2 years now and I did not had any problems with it.
Now my question is How much $$ should I ask him. What would be good offer?
I am planing to do LS+Turbo or K swap (rsx typeS) NA If I get hatch.
Here is picture of my car

Im down with lax1185 dude....get the hatch....youll be much happier later, plus now youll have a clean title(which doesn't really mean **** to most people) Id ask for atleast $1200 but try and get $1500. And with the extra money you could be on your way to a SICK hatch.
If you can get his car plus some money go for it. I wouldn't trade my hatch for a salvage title ex plus cash. Maybe s traight across but I would definitely not add money. Someone here on the board had a salvage title ex with a blown motor and clean body he let go for like $2000
On a salvage title car I would normally knock off 25% at least. I just got an audi a8 that was all rebuilt for $21,000 with only 8000 mi on it. Thats about 50% off blue book with for a clean title.
