Default ANother Stolen EM1 MD

Watch out guys my 99 Civic Si was just stolen yesterday from my work. We went out for a smoke brake at 930 and the car was fine than at 1015 when I went to leave it was gone. I called the cops and an hour and a half later the howard county cops came. Today I get a call. They found it completely stripped just the chasis. They took the B16 out of her, my greddy headers and exhaust, my v2 intake, my new HID kit, 1 week old carbon fiber hood and trunk as well as new SI wheels. They stripped it all. Be very carefull I had a viper alarm as well as that Autolock pedal lock. All is gone before my first payment was made. Short shifter brand new steroe system and seats. All gone in a night. Be careful guys. This **** has ruined me. It was stolen at columbia redlobster, and found in Prince Fredrick. They got prints so everything is straight, just be carefull

Anyone have experience with USAA. I don't even think they are going to reimburse me. I have reciepts for everything but they seem like they are just going to give me blue book

No experience, but i have it, and im pretty sure you HAVE to claim all parts that were installed afterwards to get it on ur return. I live in Virginia, and illegal for any mod, so i cant claim anything.. not even an aftermarket head unit ouch man..

BTW sorry for your loss man. Hope that **** never happens to me.

Do you know how they got around the autolock? If the car was towed, that's one thing, but if there's some other way of getting around it, it would be good to know so we could maybe find a solution to said weakness.

Mrr...sort of forget that. PM with your response if you'd like, it may not be best to have it posted permanently for any lurking thieves.

you guys should really invest in a heavy duty wheel boot.

damn really sorry bro. im scaring myself with the autolock now, my alarm cost a **** load to install. the thing with autolock is..you can just unscrew the pedals and they pop right off. I took a look at my pedals and noticed that..now time to find new ways.

Unscrew the pedals? I was under the impression they were welded to the pedal arm?

isnt there like a reward thing if your car gets stolen while having the autolock on?

You have to send in the registration card first of all, its like $1000 bucks. And the car has to be found with the autolock destroyed I think...if its intact the warranty is voided. I guess check on the warranty card to see what it covers.

i think us honda owners should start welding the pedals onto the frame so you cant unscrew it. theres no reason to unscrew it anyway right?
