I THINK IVE BEEN JACKED
Heres the deal I sent this guys some money last week amount disclosed, well he didn't quite yet send my merchandise I have this ***** adress full name and wifes name and his home number I havent yet called him though, im gonna get to that soon if he doesn't email me on what the hell is going on he said he was gonna send me the tracking number but he didn't so im just gonna wait for a while also this guy lives in texas. I was just wondering on a good way to try and get my money back I know chances are slim to none but if any of you guys have suggestions im open to them I just hope he comes through so I dont have to go through all this hassle.
well my friend lost a 700 dollar intercooler to some guy that was going to trade parts. we are taking him to court, he lives in OK. we were trying to find someone in that area to scope his house but no one will do that for us.
dude relax i have lagged for a month before....its not that i was trying to jack anyone, but when youre busy things get forgotten....plus i never use the money til the stuff ships.....give him some air if he doesnt deliver by new year then e-mail him...if he was trying to jack u anyway, he wouldnt give you all that damn info....duhhhh
Some Texans are slackers, heh. I think that applies to just about anybody in every part of the world.
Anyways, if somebody doesn't respond to you by email after sending them money you call them. If they still dont respond take them to court. Yes people get busy but so what? You are busy too and the seller should have things prepaired ahead of time especially if he knows something is being sold.
I'm currently in the process of trying to get parts that I paid for back on 12-3. This guy does not return my emails anymore and never answers his pone. I've already reported him to the IFCC but I wont hold my breath waiting for them. I talk to a laywer about this after new years. You might consider doing the same if he doesnt communicate with you. Sometimes it takes a lawyer to let them know you mean business. This is not my first time having to deal with this crap either.

you have every right and should be concerned. i was jacked for $65 once...was expecting a stock zc header, but received a stock si header...***. big hassle. i hate buying from the internet now.
go ahead and call now, don't wait. get names of who you talk to. don't block your caller id, wait until the second time to block caller id, then the third time (if you talk to him, use a friends phone with caller id active. after that, keep switching it up so you don't leave a pattern...easy to get ignored that way, ya know? sounds wierd but after i got jacked for money i thought of ways i could have avoided different things. i called the guys house and talked to his wife, she was actually pretty scared/confused/dumb? i don't know. i made a stink about it on the crx.honda-perf.org board and hybrid, and csi. he didn't like that, haha. i ended up losing all his emails of bullshit when i deleted Outlook, not even thinking about the saved emails i had accumulated for a reason in my inbox..just thinking that that account was no longer active. stupid.
learn from that. be nice when you talk to him, but not clueless. i also recommend calling him before you send money so you have his for sure phone number.

Paypal wont do **** for you. I made a transaction with them for a set of mbquart speakers via an ebay auction. The item arrives two days later, An mb quart box with some crappy radio shack looking stock speakers that said mitsubishi on them. I tried to get them to reverse the charges and they said contact the bank who the credit card is issued through. Once the transaction is deposited into the account and shows completed as the status you are fuked.
Same with credit card purchases, I bought a set of 1700 dollar rims from a company in california, I get them and they wont fit my car. I emailed them to return them and they refused to contact me. I had to contact the BBB, get the bank after them and after 4 months they refunded my money. Victoria Tire sucks
Anyways, Give the guy a little time. Don't be too quick to judge the guy. In the case of the mb quart speakers the guy auctioned them as NIB, and he said they looked new in box to him (water damaged box and all). I persued all ebay avenues and after finding false user info (I called his house, and work numbers listed) I left him negative feedback. A week later he called me (I gave him my phone number when i emailed him.) He said he was on vacation and that he would refund my money if i removed the feedback. Well Ebay refused to remove the feedback, I had to break their rules by posting a link and his name in the response to his feedback comments. Then they gave me a warning and removed the feedback.
So slandering this person on the internet could blow up in your face, take it easy and try and contact him. Like everyone else said, mail has been slowed up due to the anthrax scares as well as the holidays. Be patient and hopefully everything will work out fine.
