I curious if there was anyone out there that has installed a 5" Autometer tach into an Integra (DA) w/ a B16 (OBD-1)...cuz I am so sure I am the first one . I saw a wiring diagram on another site, but they have long since closed up. I'm tired of guessing when to shift on my stock DA tach and my new wonderful 8200rpm fuel cut. A shift light would do me some serious good too. Anyways if anyone know what color wire goes where, drop me some info. Thanks!

installed one a while ago on my buddies GSR..

Black is Ground
White is (12V source) Power
BLUE goes to the Ignition wire on the distributor
Green goes to power (12V source) also, but i think it powers the light in the tach.

someone correct me if im wrong.. i did this a while ago i could be wrong about the blue and green wires but im sure about the white and black.

 

If Autometer tach:

1. Black in ground
2. White goes to red/black wire
3. Red goes to black/yellow wire
4. Green goes to full blue wire

Assuming the wire colors hasn't changed from a DA to a DC.

 

^^ black is the ground, can hook it up to any chassy ground, White is for the light, red is the power which is black/yellow wire on honda's and green is the tach signal which is the blue wire on the distributor
