Shattered Dreams
Just got a 97 EK a week ago. Body is fresh as hell, completely stocked. Savin right now for swap and suspension (first major things). I had my heart set on a GSR swap but it's just not possible in my neigborhood. Im from Queens NY (Flushing). I dont have a garage, i live in an apartment. round here cars get stollen like water on a daily basis. somehow these bastards manage to get past nething these days.
Please fellas, some advice on some serious ways to prevent this, already got a auto lock.

higher a sniper on the roof whenever your not around your car and tell him to shoot whenever he sees someone 2 ft away from your car. And whenever he gets one to move to another location.
this may be a little drastic but i saw this guy on TV and he put a video camera on his car because this guy kept vandalising it! so the first night he puts this thing out he catches some dude he fired like the day before set the thing on fire!!! so my suggestion, it you chose to use it, put a video camera somewhere (neighbors window or whatever) and tape it constintly. this way you might be able to convict the little *******. and that may put a small stop on the stealing of the cars. hope it helps!!
i think you mean MID-west. cuz here on the west coast we have the exact same problem. i got over $600 worth of **** stolen out of my car in the past week. 2 hits in one week. also, my friend's apt got 2 wrx's stolen straight out of their garage. cali is just as bad.

"Realistic, but too expensive"
If they realllly can get past anything, then all you can do is save receipts for everything you do to the car and make sure you have full coverage w/ your insurance company.

Eventually im gonna come to the conclusion to leave the car stocked for now until i transfer colleges. My boys 93 bubble GSR,Skunk2intake manifold, type R tranny, type r suspension, GSR swirlies.....JACKED Last week. i just cant see a point of all that going to waste, i guess ill wait.
put a bear trap on your floorboard, cover it with newspaper, then rig it so there is some bait (like an amp) sitting on top trigger mechanism of the trap. when a thief reaches to yank the amp out of there, it will set off the trap's jaws and as a result, it will sever his filthy little rat paws at the wrist.
unfortunately, the bad thing about this is that you will have about a pint of blood sprayed all over your car... but hey that is what an auto-detail place gets paid for dude.

Yeah--pretty much just give up on the "having a nice Honda in Queens/at college" idea. It WILL get stolen/vandalized. Period.
Sucks, but it's true.

Some ******* in a big *** Astro van cut me off on a turn yesterday and clipped me. my front bumpers hangin off. i only got liability, but i was told his insurance is gonna cover the damage under the "no fault" policy.
Although it's getting paid for, is this gonna take weeks for the insurance to get their act together and fix my car? Let me know if u ever been in this position. Like on Sunday i got to drive it into their claims office....then they gotta go get estimates, etc. Just let me know to tell what im in for..

i know people are willing to do anything to steal cars these days. i just take my ecu out of my car and hide the plugs so no one would notice that it's gone. i know that doesnt prevent theft completely but they sure as hell wont be able to drive off with your car
