ACCORD / CIVIC QUESTION
Ok to start off, I have 1% knowlege of Cars compare to any of you guys. so... I want opinions from you experts. I recently have a 97 ACcord.... bought it for 6 grand... due to it was in a previous accident but it was fixed, but minor problems like paint chiping on one side and master window switch not responding. My friend's dad offered me a CIVIC 2001 Coupe Ex for $6500... . From the knowlege i have , my accord costs 7 grand on KBB.com. But set aside all that info. Should i switch to the CIVIC n sell the accord? I know the accord is stronger but im i don't like the heather mist/ golden color, the paint problem , and window switch problem, and the gas mileage on accords. The Civic is a bit weaker but i like the exterior style and interior also, the mpg , and 6500 is cheap (but it was crash n fixed, but still cheap as it is) . What should i DO???
how many miles on the civic and the accord civics are just as wll built as accords I dont see why you shouldnt go for the civic you sound like you want the civic and the accord has some body damage
Well, if i was in your position, I'd sell the accord and buy the civic. Although i have an Accord, I wouldnt mind having a civic. But mostly it depends what you are planning on doing to car. Accord are stong, but heavy. Civics on the other hand are quick, but only if you do the right things, and they are light. But it is your decision, dont let us influence it.
Personally i'd rather have the civic because there is more potential. But keep in mind what your car is for.
1) are you going to have it when you have a family? Accord.
2) Do you want to have cheaper insurance? Accord (damn ricers)
3) Do you want a plethora of modifications available? Civic.
4) Do you want better economy? Civic.
5) Do you want a newer car? Civic.
6) Do you want to worry less about the problems of the Accord's accident? Civic.
7) Do you love your car and just want to strip it down, repair any necessities, and repaint it? Accord.
8) Do you want a heavier car with less modifications available? Accord.
9) Luxury or sport?
10) Passengers (many) or you and a friend most of the time?
11) Smaller places to park?
Think about your situation with these questions in mind.
Then try to think of some of your own. You can make the only correct decision, we can't make it for you.
