Default my ls vtech is running rich....

i have a 94 integra ls vtech with a 94 b16 head... i have aem intake.... stock header and stock exhaust... i get regular gas and everything is pretty much stock.. but it is running extremely rich... It eats up my gas what could cause this... my engine light is on but it for my knock sensor... thank you...

yup, i know exactly whats wrong.. your "vtech" is to fast and using to much fuel

yeh i just got mine back from getting intalled and noticed the same thing. is there a reason that my ls/vtec, "VTEC", is running rich.

if youre cel is on while youre driving then your in limp mode which is a rich default map the car is running on, get cel fixed.

Misinformation, not all CELs put the ECU in limp mode. Knock sensor for one does not, maybe the problem is your driving. Do you know how many miles you are getting per tank or per gallon or are you just guessing that it is running rich?
