need 5 or 6 point racing seats but cant find any. can someone give me some websites?

You have to also note that the difference between "Street" and "Competition" seats is that. Street usually has a 3-4 point capability, while Competition has the 5+. Maybe you're searching for the wrong thing?

Just look at Sparco's site for reference.

ya i need a competiton w/ 5+ harness and roll cage to run at my track.
i checked sparco and its all 3&4

also i cant afford real expensive seats. i dont really want to spend more than 500 max. thats including 1seat 5or6 point harness and sliders. inless i can find 2 seats. for 500

my track says once you break 11's you have to have a roll bar and 5point+ harness racing seats. does anyone know if they can be reclinable?
cause im interested in these seats too.

my buddy bought tenzo seats befor (250 a pair), and they completely fell apart in only a few months. Where the sun hit them, they faded in only 2 weeks, and the bolsters became worn down to the padding in no time...

 

ya i heard the color fades quickly and the material isnt the best. my car is always garaged though. what do you guys think of the momos i posted?

You can add a 5th point to the Takatas.

Those carbon fiber seats have been tempting me for some time now (over a year). One day its Red, the next day its Black. You can't beat them price wise. I have put it off so long because I don't want to add a roll bar into my hatch to run 5 point harnesses. I also don't know how well my stock belts would work running over the seat and across my lap (you can't make your stock belts run through the holes).

I LIKE MY BACK SEAT!!!!

I also wonder how hard of an istall it would be mating those included brakcets to your stock seat rails (if even possible).


P.S. Those seats are for 5 point harnesses. Take a closer look...

 

oh.. cool. why cant you see the 5th slot at the front of the seat? do you have to lift up the padding?

 

I don't know, mabey the belt just comes up between the sections of padding (That was exactly how the tenzo seats were). If I were you, I would e-mail the people auctioning them and ask anyways. Besides, its always good to interact with the seller befor buying anything. This way you can get a feel for how they do buisness. I personally bought a cat-back exhaust from XOXO Parts on ebay. They are good with customer service, but they don't answer any e-mails (nor are they even open) on weekends. The exhaust I bought was "tom motorsports" and the fit and quality was pretty good too, so I'm guessing they make pretty good seats.

Will your seats have to have any certifications to pass inspection for track racing?

 

im not sure. they just told me i have to have racing seats w/ 5point harness and roll bar. and it doesnt say much in the rule book. im scared to get them incase my track says no you cant use those kind or some **** like that.

 

I agree... I would probably call the people at the track & find out what organization or group will be inspecting your car. Then get a hold of them. You deffinently don't want to buy seats you can't use. But if you do, I'll buy them off you for half....

P.S. These are knockoff versions of Recaro's "profi SPG" seat. I have seen the real ones (with fiberglass shell) sellin for $799 each. I'm sure those will pass any inspection (for that price they better).

But deffinently get an answer on the rules befor you buy.
