Default jdm front end owners: what condition did your FE arrive in?

i just got my front end in from jdmtheory.com and the cosmetics are not at all as good as i'd expected. the hood is bent bad up in the left corner where it bolts on (like it was dropped onto the corner) and the core support was bent up somewhat. not that its a big deal but the itr lip was scratched on the bottom as well, not a huge deal but i was wondering if anyone else had similar problems and was curious as to how well it turned out. thanks for the input
P.S. i ordered a cf hood to replace the other one, but the rest of the parts just looked like they've had better days

this front end had some major reconstructive surgery... the fenders were almost flat!

A lot of people get their front ends in not so tip top condition looks like you didn't even have it bad.

Almost all jdm fronts come in JACKED. (my oem hood was fucked up) as well as my fenders. The bumper had major gashes in it also.

Thats why its always good to look around for an already painted front end, that someone has on there car..
my body shop charged an extra 900 in labor to fix all that ****

^the thing about getting one all jacked and then having a body shop fix it... you could have prolly just bought all new parts and not had to worry about having the front fixed!

If you are in the NOR CAL area, a great shop is D2motorsports. They have a EF with the JDM Front end on display in their showroom, and they have 2 other EF projects under construction!

They can get virtually anything JDM, just ask. They are a great shop.
You can find all their info @ http://www.d2motorsports.com.

yeh i sell the jdm HID fronts for 2500 plus ship. and honestly the small things ur talking about are pretty much the same on every clip i sell, bent corners on the hoods and minor cuts and burns.. lol on the rest of the metal.. and the lip always has scrapes on it ,, like the people who drove the cars didnt give a **** about scrappin the front at all.. when u buy the front end,, either ur car is CW to start with or u have to get it painted anyway,, so the diff is u get the front end cheaper and have the body shop fix that stuff anyway.. thats how they usually come though,, sorry for the rambling but dont feel bad about the condition of ur front end,, they mostly are all like that..

oh and how much did u pay jeff?? just wondering. .???? for the used HID front end u should have gotten anywhere under 2500 for everything.. thats my opinion though..
