Hey guys n girls, some old fVck just hit my teg! Smashed my fender and rubbed the paint off my bumper. I was just wondering if any of you all were in a similar accident, if so how much did you get from your insurance company for a new fender and repaint bumper?

If he hit you, his insurance should pay for all of it.

 

Well, only if it's his fault. I was in an accident and I was hit, but they blamed me for trying to make the left turn. My Insurance had to fix the Ram's bumper, and I was left to pay for my repairs myself...

yep and u can bitch about it 2... if u dont think the auto shop ur sendin ur car to is good enough to fix ur car u can tell them to give u the cash for the damages and u go get ur **** done by another place ... u probably hav to get an estimate from another place and **** like that and they hav to agree... then u can just take the cash they give u and get a paint matched fender to ur car install it ur self and ur set and u got a nice chunk of change to spend as u wish parts are cheap labor is expensive ... even if ur a total noob wit cars it is very easy to install a fender

 

i had a simliar thing happen with my RSX:

1-Front bumper was damaegd
2-Fender was misalligned 1 centimeter
3-headlight was chipped 1 mm

it was 1500 ....so 1000 w/o the headlight

but since u have a teg most liekly they'll give u refurbished price list so i'd say maybe 500-600 bucks they should cover all the damages so whatever it'll cost they should pay
