Default need help will 92 gauge cluster w/tach into 95 dx auto with no tach.

Found a gauge cluster with tach at the salvage yard for cheap. Tried to install an found that the auto cluster has this big green plug. I assume it for the auto shift display. The cluster with tach does not have this but has a white plug which the auto cluster doesnt. So I wasnt able to plug the cluster up completely. the white plug has 5 pinouts wires colored blk/yell, red, blk, red/blk, pink/green. One set of wires coming from the green plug on the auto cluster is red, blk, red/blk green, yellow. Do you think I just need to hack and splice these wires together to make the cluster work? Without the white plug connected the only things working are temp gauge, high beams, turn signals, srs, battery light, dimmer lights, No tach or speedometer. Not sure about hatch light or oil pressure light.

anyone? I thought I made a great find. which lead to me cracking the cluster trim . Which ended up with me breaking the trim trying to fix the a/c vent that was screwed up, do to me removing the trim without seeing the screw hidden underneath the haz. button.

Well 3 plugs pop right in. the forth one is a large green one. Is has about 10 pinouts. there is no where for it to plug into. the hole on the tach gauge is only a 5 pinout .like i described above.

did your gauge cluster work without this plug?
I'm thinking I'll have to hack the green plugs wires.
I would like to find someone who has a car with working guages and do a swap to see if my gauges are functional.
