If you care to know the story - 2 guys going after the same chick, one of whom is a good friend. at the end of the night my buddy hooks up with the chick....other guy gets pissed & takes off. 10 minutes later local comes in saying somebody is stomping on the hood of my car

filed a police report (incase asshat doesn't make good on a new hood & paint) & talked to the ****** during lunch today...he said he didn't remember anything - lol...but would pay to get it fixed (but currently has no job) - always could've been worse

repair estimate was $786.86 - now to the pics

lol - I just got one painted - just need to pick it up - lol I went to the same shop for the repair quote...owner f'n loves me because I can't keep my **** out of the body shop

OEM honda hood & a VERY GOOD QUALITY paint job on the hood....I don't care as long as asshat pays for it

 

If I were you, I would get the money for the repair ($786) and then go out and get a nice carbon fiber hood for cheaper

But that's just me, your preferrence may be different.

ouch...just get a cf hood you'll be more satsified with it. i bet. 700 bucks for a oem hood. i rather get a 400 dollar good quality cf hood. but then again, you're not paying for it. tell him to get you both. hahaha

I have a lip just painted this week - just need to pick it up from body shop (same shop that will fix my hood - lol - shop owner loves me & tells me I am his #1 return customer )

I will take pics of the lip on the car early next week

sorry i don't like a CF hood on a white car (don't ask why ) I do like OEM painted to match tho just my preference tho

its $786 to replace the hood with a new hood - then painted to match the car...my guess is he can get the hood for approximately $200-300 the rest is paint & labor

the body shop is one of the best in the area - & the owner does EXCELLENT paint work. Sure I could get it done cheaper elsewhere but I want a quality job done & since I am not going to pay for it ("asshat" is) I am going to the better shop

sorry no CF hood on my car - I know I could pocket 1/2 the money if I did - but I am NOT going to just not my style
