As most of you know, I maintain the list of fastest pro 1/4 mile times here; http://kindleracing.com/pro.htm
Well, I would like to add to the section, and include milestones and acheivements in our sport. This is going to be a long and hard process, so I will need alot of help gathering the information. I am sure the scope and information contained will change as we go on, but we have to start somewhere.
Please list anything you know about, and any links to information that you provide if possible. I doubt this will be finished until sometime after next season starts so I can ask some of the current drivers about things I might be missing, but we might as well start now.
THINGS I WANT TO RECOGNIZE;
First 'whatever' to each second incriment (and then by tenths in some cases)
First 'whatever' to each 10mph
First 'whatever' to do 'this' first (wheelie bars, etc)
Please provide as much info as possible about anything you post, and I will pick out and research what I want.....TIA!

i'd agree that lingenfelter might have been one of the first in a four cylinder sedan to run a six, but there have been many six-second passes made with flat-four motors in dragsters, long before he did it... something like 6.50@207mph is one of the current numbers, 2850cc's.
