Whats up with all the haters???????????????????
Ok, so I am sitting at home just hangin out when I get this sudden urge to drive my car (it might have had something to do w/ that evo article). So I start trying to come up things that I need to do cause I don't just wanna go for a spin for no reason. So I remeber that I need to gas up because I am the snooze king, and don't need anything in my way getting to work tommorrow. So hop in the R and go to local gas station. I'm standing there fillin her up when I hear a car revin it's engine and honking, so I turn around in curiosity and a see a car full of dudes giving me the thumbs down booing me and flicking me off......at first I was like do I know these dudes? Are they talking to me or what? They then start cusing saying that I have a peice of **** car and so on. So basically Im really pissed off cause I don't understand why they were hating on me so bad!!!! I have no idea who the **** they are or what they wanted. If they wanted to race they chose a bad time, I wasn't even in the car! To top it all off it was a slammed civic w/gsr wheels total rice. WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

They were probably on their way to boost an ITR and they found that yours wasn't available...

Deferent people act different ways.. One night was was hauling back to work on i-95 and I come up on a black teg. Low and behold its a Type R... so I drive by the guy and give him the thumbs up.. and he looks over, gives me this dirty look and looks away then slows down.... Just because I don't have a fin or type r stickers he was being a hater... I was not even reving or anything.. Then today, I pull up next to a super riced out neon and they guy's like hey is that an R. I tell him yea and gives me props and says its a bad as car. There is no rhyme or reason...

to be honest there are alot of honda tuners who thing type r guys are stuck up jerks who think just cause they have a type r they think they know everything there is to know on tuning honda's from my experience i met type r owners who think that any other honda like si's and hybrids are obsolete compared to type r's, i met one guy who said that hybrids were a waste of money and that they shouldn't build or buy anything that can't even compete with a type r stock vs stock, and from what i have read so far on this thread some of you guy's act and talk that way
nighthawk: just ignore the kids, but GS-R wheels on a Civic != rice.

While I agree with your point.. well what I think is your point since that long *** sentence is hard to read.. there is no need for stupid **** like that. I do agree that a good number of ITR owners think they are the ****.. but I've also noticed that most of them are normal people.. all the ITR-NC people kick ***, none of them (that I met anyways) think that they are the **** cause they have a ITR.. I'd say 75% of the ITR owners locally are also cool.. I see those same guys at autox's and track events all the time and they never act elitest.. even after I beat em down in my non-ITR

Get use to the haters, you drive an ITR. I get those all the times. You know what really pisses them off though, if you totally agree with them. Then it will make them look stupid, and confused.

I see your point, but in this case, the guys didn't even approach him or try and talk to him, they just assumed he's a jerk because he drives a Type R - which is ignorant and stupid. Yes I think ITR owners (myself included)at times can be dicks to those with "lesser" cars, but you shouldn't start giving someone the finger if you don't even know the person or never talk to them before!!

Dood you are so right about San Antonio! About Military Dr, I used to work on that side of town and every monday morning there would be candels and flowers on the side walk in memorial of the people that were shot that weekend. What ever happened to just cruising! I have friends whose fathers and uncles used to cruise those streets when they were our age and are dumbfounded by all the violence. F**K all haters!!!!!! they need some medical marijuana or something!

I have never had any problems with haters in Brooklyn (NYC) once in a while i get the person who snaps the neck so hard it looks like it will fall off but as for any "dicks" not really. Actually i think its that most people around here just don't know what i'm driving (go figure?)
