I'm looking for upper and lower rear strut bars for my 92 VX hatch. I'm not wanting to spend too much on them, since it's basically a daily driver. I've dragged it a few times and get in an occasional freeway battle, but that's about it. I have an OEM Type-R front strut bar and I'd like to get something that closely resembles that design.
I've seen a few people with the rear upper bars in their hatch and they had to cut the plastic down because the bars weren't high enough to go down directly in the shock cover holes. Are there any bars on the market that provide the height needed to fit without modifying the interior panels?

the jdm type r rear strut bar comes with a template (for the itr at least) to cut the factory plastic mount covers so it all looks oem. You could also get the Spoon bar for the same price but it sits lower and doesnt come with the template.
