those with a b20vtec setup i was just wondering what rpm's you launch at. TIA

 

It will totally depend on your setup and track/road conditions. My best advice would be to go practice.

This is a must. On my setup, I lauch at 5 with slicks. On street tires, I would launch @ 3-3500. But most important, go out an practice.

 

yes practice is the key......we have learned with our setup due to the weak suspension we were using at the time that 8k gave us the best result on 23 m&h slicks on 13inch Bogart's......im sure if we get a good suspension setup we will have to play with the launch again.....So case in point like everyone else is telling you.....Practice with your car to find the best launch! have fun!!!!

 

ive run my car several times at the track and have come to usually launch around 3500... thanx for all the advice

 

also what kind of times do you guys get on your stock b20Vtec set-ups... TIA

 

I have a Turbo D16...

 

i launched at idel and hit 2.0 all day long

 

nice i cant seem to get passed a 2.2... ive only had my car for about 2 months and have run it only 3 times so i have some learning to do thanx for all the feedback
