Exhaust smells strange..

I could smell this strange scent inside my car and out of my exhaust.. its not gas or oil.. do you think it could be coolant because it smells sweet.. if so what could be the problem?

Head gasket might be bad.

if there is white smoke when your driveing or idling, then yes you have a blown headgasket for sure, but i had this problem before and it was just a bad head gasket when i bought it. it had a sweet smell but not much smoke, you could have a warped headgasket or maybe warped head.
