wait...so the front is suppose to be higher? well my calculations are off, can some one measure like the bottom of the center cap to the fender? cause i dont think i can eyeball the exact center of the cap
. i need something more consistent to hook the measuring tape to. thanks

i'm just seeing if the owner before me lowered my car. it does look kinda low. but the type r did come a little lower than the gsr. i'm just checking before i do anything myself to it.

I measured the distance from the ground (flat garage floor) to the lower edge of the jacking points (the metal strips which extend down underneath the rocker panel). I used a measuring tape, and the width of the body of the tape measure is specified on the side, so I added that to the measurement of the tape that extended. I think you can get a more accurate measurement of ride height this way.
Distance was 5 7/8" for the front jacking point behind the front wheel, and 6 1/4" for the rear jacking point in front of the rear wheel. These are accurate to the nearest 1/32"; they just happened to fall at these even intervals.
My '01 R is all stock, except for the tires that are on it right now, which are Michelin Arctic Alpins in the stock 195/55-15 size. They have good tread in front, somewhat worn in the rear, with maybe 1/8" more tread in the front than the rear. (I just put them on - they don't necessarily wear that way.)
