Default Anyone have access to a 4g63 to create a mani for it?

Ive seen some of your guys work on here and it is pretty amazing! Much credit goes out to you guys.

I was wondering if anyone had access to a 4g63 and could possibly fab a mani for it? The mani would be goin on a 2g eclipse, mani would need to be externally gated and t3 flanged.

They only sell that manifold which is turbonetics manifold. and they sell it for 475 plus shipping. I think all the vendors that sell manifolds are great companies, and sell outstanding products, but after having the mani that cody made for me when i had a honda and having my ic piping made by a friend of mine, i cant really justify paying over 500 for a log style mani. I just wish i had the skill at this time to make something like this but im at college and dont have access to a welder, nor the practice on it. Any manifold that pretty much differs from this style gets considerably more expensive, and personally i cant see myself paying that much for it, with out feeling ripped off.

I am considering this manifold though, obviously we know its a knock-off of a major one. I even have a chance to get it considerably cheaper than what its listed at. After i emailed the seller, i learned that it was 8gauge steel. Can you people with experiance offer any opinions on it? the way it looks, welds...etc etc?

If you want something that works and don't want to spend over $500, buy yourself the revhard cast manifold for the 4G63. It is proven to work and will be able to make more than enough power. The cast revhard manifolds for the Hondas and eclipses are awesome and can't be beat for the price. People have made 500+WHP with these manifolds and they can be had for around $450. I know this is not a tubular manifold, but I'm just telling you about something that works cause I'm assuming you are out to make power and not to show off to your friends about a pretty tubular manifold.

The Rev Hard I'm thinking of is for a T4, and it is a turd. Everything just kind of goes poop into the turbine inlet.

I also read that the manifold agp uses is created by sfp.

I dont have a whp goal, id like to make as much realiable power as i can, by that i mean conservative tunning. This car has to take me form columbus, ohio to back home in illinois, quite frequently in any weather condition. But if your looking for a figure, id like to get at least over 300whp, which i dont think is asking much. The turbo of choice is a sc61, only actual internal mods for now and probably quite some time will be arp studs, and a mitsubishi metal headgasket, possibly hks cams. Other than that it will be supporting fuel mods, and whatever else misc part needed to support the turbo.. ie intercooler, piping, exhaust/downpipe/o2 housing, all that good stuff. Hopefully that answers your question.

sc61 will make an easy 500whp with a 4g63. If you want try e-mailing me, Mozilla doesn't like the pop-up instant messenger window very much.

sure. there are a couple guys in our club making 500+ awhp but none of them daily drive their cars. they could, but they dont. for a street number, i think mid to high 300 awhp is reasonable, it will still run 11's with reliability. there is one guy in our club who runs ~11.5 consistantly on an evoIII16g and drives his car every day of the year. i think its awsome but to everyone their own.

the setups are all different, the fastest fwd i could find in the club was this:
12.820 @113.86, 2.169, 96 Spyder GS-T, Evo III 16G. most of the guys run awd, but a challenge is always fun. dsmlink + widebands are key for dialing in whatver your setup may be, basic other stuff include a front mount, hardpipes, turboback, clutch, etc. basic stuff you already know.

You must have seen the wrong one. They usually post it up as a T4 manifold, but you can get it with a T3 flange as well. The reason I know it works is because there was a guy from IL 3 yrs. ago who was running that manifold on his red DSM(street class car) and was running consistent tens. His name was Mike R. or something like that. Consistent tens in a street class car 3 yrs. ago w/ a $450 cast manifold is not impressive? I don't know what is then. Yeah, it is not the prettiest man. but it does the job. It comes tapped so you can put a heat shield over it.

havent seen it with a t3 flange or a place to purchase the t3 flange, but yet again i havent contacted many people bout that mani either. Also it does not come with a external gate flange on it, plus the way it shoots staight out, makes it look as if it could hit the fan.
