Default code 22, can i ground the wire that goes to the vtec oil pressure sensor?

I want to test if the problem is the wire going to the oil pressure sensor. I figure if the vtec oil pressure sensor gives a ground with the key is in the 'on' position that I can tell if the problem is the wire.

Does that sound correct?

That pressure switch is closed when the pressure is low. One of it's wires goes to ground, I think at the thermostat housing. Check continuity of that wire to ground. Check continuity across the 2 pins of the switch when the engine's turned off.

The ECU wants to see that circuit go open when it has enough oil pressure.
