ive got a 92 civic cx, and i wanna go with the most bang for the buck....ive thought about a zc, a b16 and even a d16 with a turbo, what would u guys do....oh yea, im trying to keep this somewhere around 3500 or less for the whole swap. thanks a lot!!

ZC (is'nt going to get you anywhere), D16 (don't waste your time if you got that kinda cash), B16 (Why?, when you can afford a B18c or even an H22 for $3500.00 and get more baseline horses and torque.)
I would prefer the H22 swap if you talkin MOST bang for the buck, but if neither of those "Float your boat". Buy the B16 and save a little more for a turbo.

my whole ? is can i get a complete swap into my cx for that 3500, thats why i was looking at the b16, because i know somebody who got his whole b16 swap into a rex for 3100...i really didnt think i could afford that b18c, but if i can...id love it...or maybe save the money from the b16 and go f/i....oh by the way, how much would a b16 cost me (i mean all the parts)

 

yes you can.....use the search function...we have covered this.

 

If YOU do the swap, You should have no problem staying within or close to your budget with the motors listed so far.
