Default RC750 in stock fuel rail?

Already got my answer for the resistor box question. I wont need one from what i hear.

Just wanted to know any problem that i may run into while installing RC750s in a stock fuel rail. Also, will the stock clips work? if not, then which ones will?

Only peak and hold inj. require use of a resistor box. It should fit into your fuel rail, but your o-rings might need some encouraging.

You'll need OBD1 injector clips there guy. Looks like you've got an EM1 like me.

OBD-1 injector clips. You may need to "burn" out a piece of the plastic in the injector [use a soldering iron] to make the clip fit [I know it sounds horrible, but it's not that bad].

We had to use a sanding drum on a dremel to open up my IM injector seals so the injectors would seat properly. I had no problems with them fitting into my AEM rail.

The guy from Wiredspeed said that i shouldnt have any problems with fitting, and that they came with seals that will work fine. ?? still a possible problem? And as far as the clips go, i should be good to go with the RC clips right? thanks for the help.

RC clips I picked up my RC's used so I can't comment on their seals.

The RC550 high Z, RC650 high Z, and RC1100 low Z I've installed recently all have OBD0 style clips. I didn't burn the center tab out for the one set I installed on an OBD1 car, but I did cut it out with a very tiny pair of sidecutters.

thanks guys. We'll just have to see. All i was told was that these RC750s include the new seals which should seat these things in the fuel rail with no problems. I guess we'll just have to see once i do it.

Riiight... The new RC550 and RC650 I had a hand in installing came with no lower seals whatsoever. Ended up stacking two OBD0 style "thick" lower seals, the designs that didn't have the shitty plastic spacer ring. Used the same rig with the RC1100's... pintle sticks down a tad further, but body is identical.

Now that im actually installing these i see what needs to be done. I DO have to open up the seals for it to fit. The injector clips fit just fine though. Just press in a little bit. As far as wiring goes.. the RC clip wires are both black. Can i just match LEFT/LEFT and RIGHT/RIGHT if i face the stock/RC clips the same way?
