Default Motor won't start

Hi
I bought a built b20 (sleeved,8to1 comp.)off ebay, put it in my car and I can't get it to start. A compression test showed psi of 63, 61, 13, 61. So, I pulled off the head, and the head is fine. The head gasket looks to be bad. It is a triple layered steel one, and it looks as if its blown on all cylinders. Does anyone think this head gasket could be the single problem of the low compression. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Putting a new headgasket will not solve this problem. Those number are EXTREMLY low. How did u do the compression check, how long did u let it crank.

I tried compression tests a couple different ways, taking out a spark plug and cranking it, then I took off the timing belt and closed both valves and cranked it by hand. Both ways gave similar numbers. What should be the next thing I should look into besides head gasket. Also, the compression is about 8.7 to 1, I mistyped it earlier. Thanks guys.
