Water leak problems...
My car is having problems in the rain...
My crx has three leaks (two of which may be related).
The first leak is located right under the left side of the dash. I believe this is related to the fresh air "vent duct" (at least thats my description of it) on the left side of the steering column. The more I mess with the "fresh air" lever under the left side vent, more water tends to come out. The water tends to leak right onto the clutch pedal and to parts of the fuse box I've tried to trace the duct, but it goes straight up to the firewall. I even tried to access this area from the cowl on the outside of the car. I think I'm going to have to remove the dash to repair this, so if anyone knows of an easier way to get to this part of the duct (towards the firewall) let me know.
And today...
I noticed a second and third leak. One is located on the right rear hatch strut and the other leak is located on the rear right side of the trunk area (water is coming out of the vents in the rear trunk trim). I haven't had time to look further into where these leaks are coming from and I also don't have a Helms manual for my car (91 crx si).
So, if anyone has any ideas as to where these leaks could be coming from...POST IT PLEASE!
Also, if anyone has a Helms manual, could you please post some pics of the vent ducts (specifically on the left side) and the sunroof drain tubes?
I've done a search on this, but no one has had the problem with the vent duct leaking???
Thanks,
Davey

this will help with your second leak hopefully https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1036979
leaking from the struts will cause the water to go down into the vents of the rear trunk, so you only have to worry bout 2 leaks instead of three

bump.. i had a the water leak where the dead pedal is. same as yours?
mine turned out to be a unplugged drain hose from a sloppy alarm install.
take a look, it's burried deep in there behind the wiring. it should be facing out the side of the car.

I had a major leak from the fresh air vent , due to the cover over the whole it gets its air ftom missing, its located under the windshield wiper cover driver side, the water fried my fues pannel , and I had to get a new one and harness
