Street Racers Read!!!!!!!!
The Associated Press
DONA VISTA, Fla. - A man drag racing down a rural central Florida highway at speeds well over 100 mph hit a car driven by his mother, killing her and another passenger.
Diane Samples, 45, had been driving around her 72-year-old friend, Vivian Green, to look at Christmas lights when the accident occurred Wednesday night.
After the accident, witnesses said Dwight Samples went to the other car and realized one of the victims was his mother. He asked emergency workers to help her instead of him.
"It's bizarre. His mom was doing an act of kindness taking this lady around to see Christmas lights," said Lt. Chuck Williams, a spokesman for the Florida Highway Patrol. "You think the probabilities for a phenomenon like this are, wow."
Samples, 21, was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center with head wounds. His head went through the Mustang's windshield and the steering wheel was crushed into the dashboard.
A decision on whether to charge Samples won't be made until after the crash investigation is completed in a few days, Williams said. A toxicology test was given to Samples, but there is no indication that he was under the influence.

Its very sad, I just can't understand why people are continuing to do it. Its like a death wish. I think killing your mother would be even worse than killing your self in that situation.
Yeah, how ironic.. I guess that it is true.. most accidents do happen close to home.. that is why I quit trying to street race... well actually my rear end in my 96' gti vr6 came out from under me while whooping some civic hatch and there was traffic around and I almost wrecked my car and could have injured other ppl and since I didn't have any friendly police officers around I took that as a warning and left.. and havent done it again. And yeah I was racing around a fairly sharp 20 mph corner doing 90
no winners in situations like that can I get a few
for being such a retard

Last week a kid in my town died while street racing.. He wrecked his Vette, got pinned inside, and the car caught fire... He burned alive.
I don't recommend any street racing... Keep it on the track where it's safer and where the spirit of competition is what you can focus on; not whether or not you're going to kill yourself or others.
I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday!!!

If he was street racing what happened to the other car....they never said anything about there being another car just that he was drag racing down the highway...who knows he could of been doing some test and tune action..or trying out his new NOS system or something...
