Default 1991 Honda CRX SI Dark deminishing Oil.

Im hoping someone on this form can help me out with this?

I have a 1991 Honda CRX SI, Just had the engine Re-Built, Car runs perfectly except for one problem that just bugs.

The car at about 700 miles starts to Burn or Loose oil. There are no leaks underneith or where I park.

At about 1000 miles I have to either add more oil, Or change the oil.

When I change the oil at 1000 miles it comes out BLACK. TO BLACK!

Checked Compression 195,195,185,198. I've been told the 185 is not enough to worry about, and is normal on a honda motor.

I was also told it might be running rich, O2 Sensor reads fine, and no check engine.

I am at the point im think its running LEAN, But I really am not sure anymore.

Any help from anyone you be GREAT!?

HOOK ME UP! PLEASE!

you need to seat the rings...
it's common after a rebuild to have a little blow-by until the rings are seated properly. this "usually" takes anywhere from 500-1000 miles, though you should not be beating on your car for a while. let **** break in properly.

Actually found the problem to my own question... and It was something pretty easy, little expensive though, the catalytic converter has gone bad/Melted a little. This creates to much BACK pressure and creats a whole world of problems...
