Im from New York and my parents just moved to homestead FL im going back to New York for a little while.know before i leave i got some maintance done on my civic.The thing is they can't change my belts beacause of all the rust and curossion around the belt ajusters.
Two shops one including the Honda dealer told me ther is some wear on the belts but i should be good fo a trip to NY.Pepboys told me I need the belts changed.Money is real tight right know and the dealer told me if a bolt snaps when changing the belts im screwed.But he said i should be alright on the trip.

I would just say screw it and watch some TV.

 

Im not to shure they said its all rusted.The one i can see real clear is the one at the top next to the power string reservour .that one is really rusted

 

Drive it off a cliff, or to NY.

well if that then you should be fine...the only one you want to worry about is the alternator belt, if you lose your powersteering belt then all your going to lose is your powersteering which in a civic, its not that hard to steer.
