modify your cross member, or you can buy a Z10 chromaly front cross member that clears any one piece header. if you have the hasport mounts, you might have to actually cut into your cross member about 4 inches to clear the headers. check it out ! you have to remove your cross member to apply the headers so you should estimate about how much to bang or cut off to clear.

PlaceRacing also has a x-member that works....I have a b16a in 91 Civic EX with HASport mounts and had NO room without x-member adaption...

The Q is are you going to spend $550 to make a header work when you can just notch it out or use the multi use hammer to make it work? I have seen kids w/ 4-1 dc's with hasport...it shouldn't be too difficult to work.

If you have the HCP kit, get the header for a 99-00 Si from DC. It clears fine.

I hope you are joking????
8 cm = 3 inches!

I hope you really meant 8 mm, about 3/8" of a inch.

where did you get figure of $500 for x-member? mine was 180...

true, could cut out x-member but at least on mine would have SUBSTANTIALLY weakened it by how much metal would have to be cut for header (DC 4:1)...

the power gains on a 4-1 header are nice cut that shiot, its worth it, but if your gonna cut it then you better buy a header with at least a 2.5 collector, its no use buying a dc 4-1 header with goes into a stock piping sized collector.
