Default POS Ecu!!!

Okay so i bought a JDM P08 Ecu from some shop on Ebay( I should have known better! ), it came with a skunk2 chip. When I start my car with this ecu it makes the cars idle jump up and down between 1500 and 2000 rpm's. I tried driving it and i drives like crap...does this mean that this computer is fried...Please Help!

What engine is it running? Is the chip for the motor that you have in your car?

the skunk2 chip says its for a b16 motor, but i have a b18c1 now...well its a b18c1 block with a b16 head and b20 throttle body....i had a b16 in the car before but just put this motor in about a month ago, and yes all of the sensors are hooked up right...could it be that the ecu is automatic?

an auto wont matter. my p28 is for an auto. it works fine, but if other ecu's work fine, then i would think you have an ecu issue.

no your ecu isn't fried. if it was fried it wouldn't even start, you'd have a CEL of 1, Solid CEL.
