Default Transmission swap

How difficult/ expensive is it to get a 5speed and swap out the auto for it?

it will ran you at least $1k to $1500 to do a auto to manual conversion... parts and labor..
save money if you DIY

I recently finished this swap in my Gen 3 LS. Parts ranged from 800-1000 dollars, depending where you get the tranny, shift linkage, clutch, flywheel, etc. Labor ranges from 500-600 dollars. It would save a lot of money if you could DIY, but you would need to know how to do some minor wiring (94-95 ECU chipped to be a manual ecu), reverse lights, etc. You would also need to do some welding and drilling.
