Ok, so my buddy put a 2000 ITR motor into a 2000 Civic Si (American Ex). He also put in a JRSC, upgraded fuel pump, rc injectors, not using the FMU but instead using a conversion harness and a chipped p28, using stock wiring harness. Difficulties that occured include distributor rewiring, 8 pin plug vs. 9 pin plug (no blue tach wire); iac valve rewiring, currently throwing code 14; injector plugs needed rewiring, O2 sensor rewired and thats all I can think of right now. So, the car runs like a bag. Code 14 only affects idle correct? This would cause idle to be erratic? Anyone have any suggestions on what to check/change to hopefully correct the problem. Car starts fine, when you touch the gas it runs like ****, no power and bogs no matter what rpm. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
