Thinking about cams but need some info....
I've been doing a little pondering about getting cams for my '02 Si-T but if i go that route i need to know EVERYTHING i need....
What manufactuers are coming out with cams aside from Toda?
I know Toda is almost ALWAYS the way to go, but is there anything comparable performance wise? I wanted gains overall, not either low-end or top-end but both, if i could.
Am i going to need new valve springs? or valves?
I'm tired of doing half-*** jobs and having to pay more money than i initially have to
so i want to get everything i need before i put the work into it....lemme know what i need!
Thanks in advance!

Crower has cams and Skunk2 cams will be coming out sooner or later. But in your case, I think it is pretty much impossible to find cams. The K20A3 has little cam development from the manufacturers. Crower or Skunk2 are more likely to come out with a set of cams for the A3 than Toda is.
Plus, if you are going cams and you have a Turbocharger, it's best to stick with a Turbo cam. They help spool the turbo quicker with more overlap, while the current cams for the K20A/2 are designed for N/A purposes, however, I have heard of A2 turbo cams.
Oh yeah, if you swap out cams, it's best to do the valves, springs, and retainers while your head is cracked open.

OK thanks!
Since no one is making cams for the a3, would an a2 swap be good for anything? I'm talking about just swapping out the heads. I'm not looking for a huge ordeal including ecu's and immobilizers and all kinds of stuff. I'm still in the market for other things like an IC and K-pro. Since i was going to be getting K-pro and raising my redline, would the head swap bring me any worth while gains?
I've read in the DC5/EP3 forum before that doing a head swap entails so much...but that was for an all-motor setup and they were looking for the same output as the Type-S. Like i said before, i'm not necesarrily looking for an explosion of power, just something that'll compliment my setup. Is there anything you could suggest? Also where could i look into these "Turbo cams"?
