a friend of mine has a 93 GSR with the stock YS1 tranny. I have an extra 98 spec itr lsd and jdm 4.785 final drive set. Will this fit into his tranny?

I know the ITR LSD will fit, which requires shaving of the casing and a different shim (anyone know what size off hand?)

What about the 4.785? im pretty sure it would fit.. i dont see why it wouldnt.

Anyone done this before? maybe someone can give me some tips or advice.

I'm still not 100% sure, but my understanding is that yes it will fit because you are also replacing the ring gear with the ITR gear, which is different. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I would still check for clearences just to be safe.
