Which Header to buy?
After the Great Header Test (Thanks to all the guys that made it happen) I was wondering which header would be the best to buy? I don't really like the DC sports header, but I have been considering the JDM ITR header, then I see that Comptech makes the same torque but more Hp. Then again the Toda header made 190hp.......
What do you guys think??

Uses dyno proven Power Plus technology.
Has gains of over 5hp compared to BRAND X and ACME products

Its a Bit more than the DC or JDM 4-1 But it performs much better And It has the high quality of the Higher Priced Headers Like Spoon and Mugen

I would say depend on what are you going to do with your ITR. If you are only going to stay with minor mods like I/H/E, then get either the JDM ITR or JDM DC to save yourself some money. The 1-3whps gain at 8500rpm with those $600-$1000 headers is not really worth the extra money.
But if you plan on getting bigger cams later on, I would say go with same company of your cams. ie. Get the TODA header if you buy TODA cams. I guess those company design their header for their cams. But since there is no "Great Headers Test" done on a bigger cams modified ITR, no one really know which header will work best for certain application.
If you want to go all out. Give SMSP or Hytech a call and have them custom make a header for your application.

a.) Get 3 cars. One that's JUN equipped, the other TODA equipped, and the last SPOON equiped.
b.) Get 3 headers-JUN, TODA, and SPOON. Test and do basic tuning (a/f ratio vtec x-over) of each of the headers on each car.
c.) Theoritically, a car with Brand A setup should have the best dyno curves with the Brand A header since the parts were supposedly designed to work together.
I think this test would put to rest to the question of what header to get.

We have both a JUN 3 car and a Toda C car ready for action in just a few short weeks. Tell mere where I might find this illustrious Spoon Cam
On a different note, I'm going for the Spoon header because I want to be prepared for any future upgrades that I don't know about yet.
The Comptech header is a very good alternative for strictly bolt-on cars.
I am going to be sticking with simple I/H/E setup I ordered the JDM MUGEN Sport muffler that I plan to use with the JDM header because of the cat size...
The ITR was my first pick for price (+ the stealth factor is cool) and power, I don't like the DC header because I heard that the steel it was made from was cheap therefore lowering the price...
I also heard that if one bought a car new after 1998 it did not have to smog untill it was sold , thatway any header goes!!

The reason I would say not to bother with the Spoon Cams is that not many people here are running them and there Race Cams are much more agressive than the ones they sell publicly.
