TYC Projectors? Hows there light output? Recommend??
Looking to get TYC projectors for my accord, I've always been concerned about good light output. For spirited driving at nights. Anyone with these projectors tell me how well they perform? Better than stock? I know they have that razor sharp beam, but how well do they light up the road? better close range or longer? I believe most of them use H3 if im correct, there not so big a bulb or filament to begin with, so does that also have an affect?
Personally I wouldnt get projectors, I think accords look cleaner with a simple black or gunmetal housing with some hids to go with it...clean and simple
I think projectors look sweet.
The problem with H3 bulbs are that they are very small and don't give off a lot of light. I think it's safe to say that if you want better light output on the road then don't go with aftermarket projectors. Unless, retrofitted with projectors and HID i.e. Audi, S2000 and those taken from an equipped vehicle.

Yea i recently bought a halo projector headlights. i'm pretty disappointed because it pretty much good for close range, unless i get the bulbs that is like 7000k ten it will be better. It come with the stock bulbs and it works well. But if you were to get a white or blue bulbs then make sure you get at least 5000k.
My project some how they made it to show only the bottom half the project so it point down. It doesnt show the upper half.
Well that just one of the projector, so iono if other projector that show the whole projector instead of just bottom half like mine.

The others are right, you need to retrofit with factory projectors. Or upgrade to HID. Aftermarket kits tend to be inferior in light output, at least the cheaper ones. I would just use HIDs from a kit or a car, or projectors from an s2000.
