Are GABs even manufactured anymore? When I tried to get some Superstrokes from various dealers more than 6 months ago, I was told that the company went under, or something to that effect. Whatever the reason I began to understand that distribution might be reestablished by a new owner/admin.

If this is all false, then who still sells GAB shocks? I need shorter-stroke adjustables that can handle 425ft.lbs. Front/ 500ft.lbs. Rear.

Last time I checked, Shox.com could not get GAB's. Something about the importer going out of business, changing ownership, or something like that. They keep telling me to check back, but everytime I do the answer is "No, we cant get em". I havent checked in about 2 months though, so maybe things have changed.

 

GAB Is owned by Yokohama and is Still in Business, Their US Importer which is actually a company in Japan that distributes them their closed their US offices.
I am working on getting GAB here soon

Please contact the U.S. importer, Wings Corp. U.S.A. for the latest information on product availability. Their number is (510) 490-7078 located in Northern California.

I feel there may be some sort of mis communication here.
The authorized U.S. importation rights were sold/transfered at one point to the former Under Pressure Research and Development (UPRD). UPRD has since ceased operations and therefore, Wings Corp. U.S.A. remains the importer. Please be patient with the current operation. They are trying to correct the situation as best as possible and will continue with authorized U.S.A. distribution of GAB dampers and ADVAN wheels as they have been since 1986.

I have been on GAB dampers since 1990 and have not found a better damper for my usage. Please remain patient. If I did not care about the reputation of GAB products do you think I would endorse them on this BB?

Roger Im glad you posted that, Last time I called Wings Corp USA they had a message saying that they closed their US offices with no future Intent to reopen, Im am very happy to hear that they infact did reopen. I at one time dealt with UPRD, After the split it was a mess trying to get anything even though it was all in a wharehouse in CA

Please be patient! You may still get an announcement when you call this number. There is also an email address given in the announcement for your convenience if you'd rather do email. They are still trying to work out all the particulars, but, they will be back on the market with regularity beginning next year.
