Air Breather?
What in the wold is an "Air Breather" http://andysautosport.com/products.p...thers
All it is, is a substitue for using the small tube going from the intake pipe to the valve cover. In California, you HAVE to have the tube, you can't use a breather filter.
Not really anything performance-wise, but there can be vacuum problems between the crankcase and the intake if you have the tube instead of breather. Not very common AT ALL, but it is a possibility. Other than that, it just kinda looks a little better IMO.

Do you know why that is? That's a stupid rule. (Then again, which rule isn't?)

No sir, I don't. That's California transportation law for you. *shrugs*
There are ways around the law in California, you just need to know how and where to look.

Well, one reason I never want to live there, besides the fact that I don't feel like breathing in toxic gas levels every breath. But, one of my best friends worked out in the Sequoias (sp?), and said it was awesome. I think I could live with that.
