does anyone have this poblem with there motor reving high ,when its from a cold start..when i first got it .it didint do that then all of a sudden .it revs to 4500-5k. then when it warms up it stays at 1500k almost 2k...i adjusted the throttle cable.that didnt do a thing.what could it be

 

b4 u post again, search...i have the same problem w/ my USDM d15, but not as severe
it could be your IAVC, try cleaning that , and it can also be caused by leaks in your vacume lines. I havent gotten around to paying $$ get stuff to fix this stuff, but when i do ill let you know how effective it is

 

if my IAVC was stuffed up would i have a check engine light? on ..also my friend IACV broke and his car doesnt do that at all but it mite be different he has a bseries.nope its not the vacuum lines eithers..checks all of them there in the right order
