NItrous.... I decided my car is going to be alot of show. by january im going to have my drag wing some 19"z and Jap. headlights hopefully. however im a street racer. as stupid as it is i love it and i live by it. So i was thinking about Nitrous

My friend had some in his Si and it worked real good, but he fucked up his cat and something about his intake manifold was all jacked up. CAn anyone tell me what i can do to make my car ready for this? (I.E. knock out the cat? something?) other than a forced induction manifold like the SPT one... dont got that much money ... please help serious decision!!!!!!! I dont want my **** to blow up any recomndations and insight? THANK YOU

hey bro, i dont know if it would be possible to put nos in the rsx-s. i heard that nos would be a problem in the rsx-s because the timing advances and retards itself. and in order to put nos u need to retard ur timing. when u floor it the timing advances by itself and when u stop it retards itself to save gas. so if you are gonna go nos, which i am trying to do in my rsx-s look more into it. i talked to a representative for venom nos, and they said that they were in the production in making a kit for the rsx-s. so give it time and look more into it. dont blow ur motor up.

i attempted to put a dry manifold kit off my turbo gsr but its not possible (need to change my sig..oop's) because the rsx-s has no return fuel lines. we will have to wait and see what comes out and how they will make it work with the timing also.

Drag_on_rsx: Take this as constructive criticism. You have to use decent grammar and correct spellings if you want anyone to take you seriously on this board. Honda-tech is not clubsi and it will never turn into clubsi. To answer your question about nitrous on the rsx-s, I honestly don't know. We've been trying to figure out if nitrous would work, but the fact that the timing is electronically advanced just isn't compatible with nitrous. The lack of a fuel return line isn't a problem because you can just T off the fuel line and run that directly to the fuel solenoid or run a fuel cell directly to the fuel solenoid. I have no doubt that a company will come along with a device to control the automatic timing adjustment, but for now you'll have to run nitrous at your own risk and I don't recommend that you do.

To answer your question...run a smaller shot of nitrous. 80 shot would be perfect and you should encounter less problems.

Big wheels looks good, but they're strictly show on a FWD car. Everyone knows that big wheels on a FWD make you slower. C'mon now...

Obviously REAL performance was not on your mind when coming up with the idea of 19's on a 4cyl. car, so why even worry about how fast NOS will make your car?
But,I guess we are all entitled to our own opinions, though I would have to say if you want performance go with the 16's and don't put that damn wing on your car...it's so stupid. You plan on gettin' mad downforce or something with that huge wing?
