how are the rigid ***** attached to the shifter? do they use allen screws to hold them on or is the inside of the **** threaded?

 

I'd like to know this as well.

Also, what part of the gel **** is actually gel? is it the whole ****, or just the very top part?

Also, what material is the gel shift **** made from and what is the weight? Is the gel material one solid piece or just a coating over a metal base.

yes they screw in to the factory threads. The Gel is type of urethane. Weight is .3 kg about. This is full gel with small metal shaft.
