Someone should build a street motor identical to Skunk's. I guess you'd need to talk to Dave about the cams and Charles was saying their rod bearings get beaten to hell (change them every 5-10 passes?).

Im pretty sure Norris is/was having a similiar problem too.. But then again, both their cars represent their potential, They will get it figured out.

Did he tell you what size crank they were running? If there killing rod bearings like that sounds like there running the stock 99m k24 stroke. Max displacement for nhra allmotor is 2600cc. Max bore on k series is 91mm, so a 91mm bore and a 99mm stroke = 2575cc. I dont know thats just what im guessing. Either way that thing has got some serious heat under the hood.

He said the motor is a 24 like everyone knows so I assume that they're running the 24 crank. I just don't really understand since the K24's R/S isn't any worse than a B18A/B, B20B/Z and they'll handle 10K rpm fine. Oh well, do whatever works and I'm sure they will get everything figured out.

CP pistons not to sure on the rods. I would bet Crower.
I have some of there pistons on my desk. Nothing special small pin big dome I would say 15 Plus on the comp.
