Default Final non-VTEC track results

Ran on the shitty 205/40-16 Yokohama AVIDs (360 wear rating) at first...which werent too bad. The best run on those tires was:

60': 2.132
330': 5.895
1/8: 8.937 @ 80.615
1/4: 13.836 @ 100.477

I was real surprised these tires could manage a 2.1 60 ft!

Then I did a few runs on some 20x8x14 slicks! The first two runs blew *** cause there was 18 PSI in the tires...so on the 3rd run I lowered it to 14 PSI (probably should have gone 10-11). My 60 foot SUCKS for slicks!

60': 1.972
330': 5.619
1/8: 8.671 @ 80.887
1/4: 13.566 @ 100.248

Not too bad I though. Before the rebuild, my best on street tires was 14.0 @ 99.0 with a 2.20 60' and a 13.77 @ 98.4 MPH with a 1.90 60'. So my time dropped 2/10th and I had a worse 60 foot!

12.5-13 psi is the limit, else you'll start spinning the slicks on the rims.

Once you do it once, it will get easier to slip them on the rim next time.
Put a mark on slick marking where the valve stem is. hat way you can monitor slippage.

I would suggest 22x8x14 slicks. Let the torque PULL!

Yep...I think Ill buy a set of 22x8x13s!
I seriously believe with a 1.8X 60'..which is what I should run on slicks...I would have ran at least a 13.3
