Accord or Prelude?
Ok I need your guys opinions to help me out. I own a 91 accord ex, tons of things are going wrong with the engine right now and i'm sick of it. The car is totally paid off and it has a few mods. Ok, now heres my dilema, should i buy an H22 and put in my accord, or should i just buy the Prelude? I love my accord, but i'm spending way to much just to repair it. It'll cost the same if i buy the prelude or get the swap, so the money isn't really an issue. Fill free to express your opinions, thanks a lot guys.
I'm assuming you mean the a hard-to-find-in-good-condition 4th gen Prelude VTEC? Depends on your priorities. If you want sports car, get the Lude. If you want a sporty car with utility, get an H22 for your Accord. They both have an equally rigid chassis. Their front suspensions are almost identical; one upper and one lower control arm, and a radius rod. Their rear suspensions are very similar, two lower control arms, one upper control arm, except the Accord has trailing arm whereas the Prelude uses a radius rod.
